Yes, server fans are removed during prep (they create unwanted fluid turbulence). We supply a fan-blank kit with every installation.
Lift the server, let fluid drip back (30 sec), service it on the lid. Dielectric Solvent is provided for cleaning if needed. Hot-swap is fully supported.
