Common questions about liquid cooling

Is liquid cooling safe for servers?

Yes. DCX immersion fluids are 100% dielectric — they don't conduct electricity — so even fully submerged servers operate safely. Direct-to-chip systems use closed loops with leak-detection and pressure monitoring. Every system ships with redundant safeguards.

How much energy does liquid cooling actually save?

Compared to traditional air cooling, well-designed liquid systems reduce total data center energy use by 30–45%. Warm-water cooling at 45°C eliminates chillers entirely in most Middle East climates, and higher density reduces per-kW overhead.

Can I retrofit an existing air-cooled data center?

Absolutely. DCX rack-based CDUs are designed for drop-in retrofit. We run a site survey, identify which pods can go liquid first, and deploy in phases with zero downtime.

What's the lead time from order to commissioning?

Entry ECDUs: 8–10 weeks. Enterprise ECDUs: 12–16 weeks. FDU 5/8 MW facility units: 16–20 weeks. Modular data centers can ship in as little as 12 weeks depending on specification.

Do you provide ongoing service and spare parts in the GCC?

Yes. We maintain regional warehouses, spare-part inventory and DCX-certified field engineers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. 24/7 SLAs available for all mission-critical contracts.

Which GPUs and servers are supported?

All major vendors — NVIDIA (H100, H200, GB200, B200), AMD (MI300X, MI325X), Intel Gaudi — plus OCP Open Rack V3 platforms. We work directly with server OEMs to certify cold-plate and immersion compatibility.

Can heat be reused?

Yes. DCX systems produce 45–55°C return water, ideal for district heating, desalination pre-heating or absorption-chiller feed. We design the heat-reuse loop as part of the overall solution.
